View Data Filter Logs
The changes which you made to the data filter setting are captured in the data filter log. To view a data filter log, first you have to Log in to the Endpoint Protection console. Then the Endpoint Protection panel appears on your screen with the Status tab active. After this, you have to click on the Logs tab. Now the Logs panel appears on your screen with the Change Log tab active. Here you have to click on the Data Filter Log tab. Now the Data Filter Log panel appears on your screen with the following information:
Setting — The filter option which was selected.
User — The name of the user who has made the change.
Date — The date on which the change was made.
View Change Logs:
To view the change logs, from the Endpoint portal, you have to click on the Logs tab. Then the Change Log appears on your screen by default. It gives the lists of change events, and also provides filters for narrowing the list. Here you have to use the Filter Change Log option which is located in the left pane to narrow the data. You can filter the data, as follows:
Between and And — In this, you have to enter the time frame in the mm/dd/yyyy format, or you can click on the calendar icons to determine dates.
Event Type — Here from the drop-down list, you have to select an event. Events will include changes in groups, endpoints, or policies, overrides and user logons.
Involving User — Now from the drop-down list, you have to select a user.
Involving Group — Now from the drop-down list, you have to select a group.
Involving Policy — Now from the drop-down list, you have to select a policy.
After, selecting the filtering criteria, you have to click on Submit option. If the data exceeds 50 items, then you have to click on the Left and Right arrows which are at the bottom to move between additional pages. Now you have to click on the Refresh icon just to update the data.
View Command Logs:
To view Command logs, from the Endpoint portal, you have to click on the Logs tab. Then the Logs panel appears on your computer screen with the Change Log tab active. Now you have to click the Command Log tab. Here you will see the Command Log panel displays on your screen. In case, data exceeds 50 items, then you have to use the navigation buttons which is at the bottom to move between pages. Now to update data, you have to click the Refresh icon.
